The previous Kitchen extension had succumbed to rising damp and wet rot so the new extension was constructed in Reinforced Concrete, Galvanized Steel and Columbian Pine with a high-specification coloured Aluminium Framed Double Glazed Roof.

The coloured concrete floor incorporates underfloor heating.

The materials used were specifically chosen for their inherent qualities of being pleasing to touch and durable e.g. - Cornish Blue Black Slate and Maple worktops.

While it is quite small the new kitchen uses the available space to its maximum and enjoys being both a place to cook, a place to eat and a place overlooking the garden.

It is unique and greatly enjoyed by the family.
